The Spring Pre Packed Column (SAC)

Characteristics of SAC Column

- The column shall be packed with a column packing device.
However, it is very simple to use a column because it does not require a packing device.
Once installed, the column bed is stable because there is no need to reassemble or disassemble the column.
- A typical prepacked HPLC column may cause void due to long time use.
However, the SAC column does not produce void because the steady resilience of the spring always presses the column bed at a constant pressure. So the performance of the column is long maintained.
- It is economical to charge different sizes of columns with a single spring column packing device.
- This column does not use electricity, so it can be used for explosion-proof areas.

Advantages of SAC column

- The piping is much simpler than the DAC column.
- Distribution plate and collecting plate have been developed with independent design and special processing techniques.
